The mission of the Analytical Centre is mainly the monitoring and collection of data on current topics of youth policy in the Czech Republic, other public policies in relation to children and young people and about young people themselves. Furthermore, ongoing monitoring of research carried out in the Czech Republic on the topic of children and youth, maintaining contact and cooperation with individual researchers and research organizations/institutions/initiatives and supporting the use of findings and outputs from research and surveys.
The CRDM's Analytical Centre creates statistics on summer camps, as well as statistics on injury rate in youth organizations. It also conducts its own analyses in the field of youth. We create research surveys in which we ask about the opinions and attitudes of the young generation. The main topics of our analytical work include:
- youth lifestyle – spending free time, using digital technologies, etc.;
- political participation;
- attitudes towards the environment;
- study and employment;
- values orientation.
